While much attention is given to a stallion's contribution to the future succsss of a horse, we understand that the mare is equally important. Our brood mares are selected for bloodlines, conformation, athletic ability and temperament. Here at North Point Farm, we like to say that excellence is no accident!
Our mares are featured below. If you'd like more information, please let us know and we will be more than happy to discuss our mares with you.
Victoria has incredible action both front and back, exceptionally clean hocks and a good foot, which has enabled her to be such a powerhouse in the show ring. When you talk about the "total package," you may as well be talking about Victoria. This mare has been the lead of a champion six, stood many times at the end of a lead rope as a champion, and is an All-American mare and was still winning cart classes at age 13 against geldings and mares half her age. Victoria is in foal to Briar Hill Bonner for a 2012 foal.
| This 2010 All-American Yearling Mare is an elegant young mare combining a beautiful and charismatic look in the ring with beautiful movement and carriage that make her stand out in any size class. Cameo has overall conformational correctness and bone, as well as fantastic movement both front and back, which has made her a successful halter mare. She is sired by the 2009 National Champion, Briar Hill Trademark and out of a big Just Incredible mare. Her maternal grand dam, Donald's Sherri Lyn, was a huge Canadian-bred mare who was part of the 1995 World Champion Mare Team. Cameo has a unique mix of the very best of American and Canadian bloodlines. |
| In our opinion, Flora typifies what a brood mare should be. She has a wonderful depth of rib that is so necessary in a brood mare. In addition, her personality is second to none, making her an easy mare to work with and be around. Flora has several Champion and Grand Champion titles to her credit, as well as being a 2008 and 2010 All American Nominee. Flora is by High Prairie Impressive and out of Pleasant View Patricia. Patricia is a full sister to Pleasant View King. Flora is bred to Windermere's Wincredible for a 2012 foal.
| Out of Lucasia Bismark and Dawley’s Danube Lilly, this all black mare is one to watch. She is a refined beauty with an elegant head, big eye and a whole lot of lead mare attitude. Larissa, a 2008 and 2010 All American Nominee, is not the typical halter mare, preferring to drive in harness, but she has enjoyed a successful show career garnering Senior Champion, Grand Champion and Supreme Champion honors over the course of her career. Larissa is bred to Windermere's Wincredible for a 2012 foal. | At left, North Point Miss Elainious, Larissa's 2009 Filly out of Pleasant View Duke. |

Windermere's Aleesha is by All Star Prince Rocket and out of the four time All-American, Windemere’s Cassandra, and a full sister to the 2008 World Champion Stallion, Windemere’s Inferno. A stunning mare who stands 18HH, she has tons of presence, beauty, conformation, foot and personality. Windermere's Aleesha is a 2007 and 2008 All American Nominee, finishing the 2008 contest as 3rd Honorable Mention. | Lorelei is by our stallion Wincredible and out of Donald's Miss Topsy, a big Canadian mare. What impresses us about Lorelei is her exceptional hocks and legs. More than one judge has commented to us that this mare's legs are very difficult to beat. In addition, this is a big broody mare with good action and movement and a very regal ring presence.

Good things come in small packages and produce huge dividends! We purchased Corissa in January 2010 based on the strength of her pedigree as well as her progeny and production record. We think you'll agree that Corissa's exceptional pedigree needs little introduction. Corissa's dam is Glenview Cousteau's Colette, a standout in the show ring having been crowned a World Champion as well as a National Champion. Her sire Stardust Royal Command, is well known for producing great moving hitch horses and was the 1994 All American Stallion. As for her production record, Corissa is the mother of W.C. Carrie, the 2008 Champion Yearling & Jr. World Champion Mare, and 2008 Reserve All-American Yearling Mare. While not a show mare herself, we feel that Corissa can make an important impact on our breeding program here at North Point Farm. Corissa had a stud foal in 2010 by Windermere's Eliminator, North Point Cary Grant, and was bred back to Eliminator for a 2011 foal. She is bred to Windermere's Wincredible for a 2012 foal. | Out of Windermere's Aleesha, a 2007 and 2008 All American Honorable Mention Mare and the All American Stallion and National Champion, Briar Hill Trademark, this young mare will be one to watch! With these genetics, including All Star Prince Rocket and the four time All-American, Windemere’s Cassandra, as well as her uncle, the 2008 World Champion Stallion, Windemere’s Inferno in her pedigree, we think that you'll agree that it can't help but be all about the genes! This mare has the potential to be a national caliber halter or driving horse and will be an exceptional addition to our breeding program. |
